Trek Route 

The Trek route starts with a short 35-minute flight to Lukla Airport, Nepal from Kathmandu. Lukla is popularly known for its charm. The town is filled with colorful prayer flags, a challenging airstrip, and a vibrant hub. It’s one of the busiest and most beautiful towns in the Everest region. Along the journey, the trek winds up in dudh khola. The route to Phakding and Monjo goes through hills filled with rhododendrons, lush forests, and vibrant blooms of spring. Continuing the trek, we ascend to Namche Bazzar the “gateway to Himalaya”. Explore the narrow land, stone houses, and markets. The trail leads you to Everest View Hotel and Tegboche. Namche Bazzar, Nepal

Best time for Everest view trek

Spring (March-June) and autumn (September- November): During spring and autumn, trails are busy and the accommodations are mostly packed. It’s the busiest season of all season. The weather and temperature are predictable and stable. The average temperature is 20°C, lower to -20°C. however, the accommodations like lodges, flights, and food are very expensive.

Monsoon (July-September) winter (December- February): Monsoon and winter are considered off-season for the trek in the Everest region.  The weather and temperature are not suitable for every trekker. The temperature can be 10°C to -20°C and even lower during the night.

Permit and insurance For Everest View Trek

The trip to the Himalayas is risky, back up with insurance for medical emergencies. Insurance helps travelers escorted in the helicopter to healthcare at a lesser cost. Permits are mandatory for trekkers to visit the Everest viewpoint or Everest region, especially the Sagarmatha National Parks permit and Khumbu Pasang Lhamu rural municipality permit. It can easily be obtained in Kathmandu or Lukla airport upon arrival.

Accommodation during Trek

Itinerary

The trek to Everest view point starts with a short flight to lukla. Experience the thrilling flight of tenzing Hillary Airport, world most dangerous airport. The unpredictable and constant change in weather can cause flight delay. Enjoy the Arial view of the mountain covered in snow, and giants hills below. Upon landing at the lukla airport, get rests and introduce with the potter and experience guides. The trek kicks off through the lush alpine forests and dudh Koshi River. The trek connects you to Phakding. Overnight stay at the hotel including the all meals included.

Following a brief hike from Phakding continue the walk along the Dudh Koshi River bank. The trail drastically changes after crossing the suspension bridge. The exertion is rewarded with breathtaking vistas of the Himalayas, including Mount Everest, Thamserku, Nuptse, and Kusum Kanguru. The final destination of today is Namche Bazar, known as the "Gateway to Everest". It’s the commercial center of the Everest areas.

It isn’t easy to hike up to 3880m, acclimatization in Namche Bazar is essential to avoid altitude sickness. Hike to Everest View Hotel is the crown jewel of today trek. Everest view hotel offers speechless, unique architecture and hospitality. The jewel of today is located towards the settlement of syangboche offers glimpse sprit of mountain.

After a peaceful day of acclimatization at Namche our adventure continues. The trail goes through breathtaking drive to mountains' interior. The trail leads to the mountain covered in thick rhododendrons burst into pink, crimson and white color. Enjoy the mellow music of Dudh Khola throughout the trek. The continuous ups and downs lead you to the tiny community tucked in between mountains. Ascend the hills and mountains we reach to tengboche after 5-6 hrs. Along the way witness the beautiful blend of nature with the believes of monks and sherpas.

As descending prepare to say farewell to Himalayas. The trails are steep and dangerous on the way down to Namche. After fueling up the journey starts. The trails are familiar and journey takes you to quaint towns like tengboche and Phunki Tenga. As you continue your trail enjoy the scenery and acknowledge the customs of the Sherpa people as you return to namche Bazar via Dudh Koshi River. Spend a night in Namche Bazar and enjoy the local meals of mountain.

Trail back to lukla is equally difficult; trekker must be caution when descending. Prepare yourself to cross long suspension bridge down to Phakding. The trail soon turns into a hillside that leads to Buddhist monasteries. The true beauty of nature unravels itself as you continue your journey to lukla. Relish the well-earned comforts of the guesthouse and enjoy the delicious meals.

This is my last goodbye to the Sherpa community and the Himalayas. Take pride and relish memory of the magnificent Himalayan vistas. You're in for an exciting morning flight from Lukla to Kathmandu. After you land up in Kathmandu, rest in a cozy hotel in Kathmandu. Explore the city life of Kathmandu. Go around Thamel and enjoy shopping for mementos. Day 9 :
Farewell

Your last day in Nepal will be a hassle-free and easy farewell. As a flight is scheduled to depart, a relival member of the team will drop you off at the airport.
